Ok, now that (above) was the real long story of what our H2DDI Wildfire® System is and is not.

The short story is that our H2DDI Wildfire® is an engineering masterpiece that produces 98.6% pure humidified Hydrogen Fuel that delivers a carefully metered, digitally controlled by Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) and precisely calculated stream of both H2/O2 (Oxy-Hydrogen) that is delivered to your engines intake stream via sequential direct port injection, down stream in-line feed, normal aspiration, or forced induction (Supercharged or Turbo Charged induction) depending upon your specific needs and requirements.

Safety is paramount, key and instrumental to our design... at no time is any Hydrogen or Oxy-Hydrogen produced and/or stored in our system while the vehicle is idle.  Since our H2 Fuel is produced "on-demand", and consumed immediately when the vehicle is running, there is absolutely no danger of Hydrogen fuel related issues with our system.   Every precaution has been taken in the name of safety to ensure our system exceeds all DOT requirements, U.L. and Federal and State EPA requirements.

With our H2DDI ® Level II upgrade our Performance Computer (ECM) will add up to an additional 200rwHP!  This is a pretty bold claim to make, and we can back it up!   The dyno does not lie. There are 7 Power settings available that are operator selectable from within the cab and on demand.

Each setting will add an additional 30+ rwHP.  The torque increase is about 100 ft. lbs per setting also.   This is real diesel power, real diesel torque!  This Level II upgrade in conjunction with our H2DDI® System will greatly improve the throttle response and you will feel the acceleration from the massive increase in torque.

Our new ECM Mapping is part of the H2DDI® Level II family of Performance Products for the 3406-E, C-12, C-15, C-16, N-14 Celect, N-14 Celect Plus, Detroit Diesel DD3 & DD4 Computers.

Hydrogen is arguably the ideal fuel since its use in internal combustion engines produces only water and water vapor.  The current political climate is such that most car manufacturers are designing a hydrogen fuel cell car and the buzzword around the world is Hydrogen Economy.   However, we (W2E, Inc. and UEC) believe that fuel cell cars are many years away and based on the tremendous cost and complexity of such cars, may never become a reality within 10-15 years from today.

Even if fuel cell cars make it to market, there are still several hundred million cars in the world that are running on gasoline and diesel, and continue to pollute, and consume our resources.   The fuel cell vehicle simply does not solve all our issues. 

It is more likely that gasoline and diesel fueled vehicles will be converted to burn hydrogen, retrofitted to burn other alternative fuels like ethanol for gasoline vehicles and/or other biofuels, such as Biodiesel for diesel vehicles.  Vehicles with internal combustion engines (ICE) burning hydrogen is a practical and achievable technology to serve as an interim step to commercialization of fuel-cell vehicles.   Regardless, these vehicles (all of them) can take advantage today or our H2DDI Wildfire® System.  We firmly believe this to be true in a total H2 Conversion, or just in supplemental Hydrogen Fuel as our H2DDI Wildfire® unit delivers today! 

The Diesel Engine - Our focus and reasons why...

The Diesel is the world's most efficient internal combustion engine.  A Diesel Engine provides more power and more fuel efficiency than alternatives such as gasoline, compressed natural gas or liquefied natural gas.  Further, we believe that issues of what to do with the millions of diesel vehicles today needs to be resolved.   Our focus is to reduce costs, improve performance and efficiency, and reduce pollutants... these goals remain our primary focus and therefore our business model reflects focus on the diesel transportation markets.


 

 
  • Fuel combustion is the primary difference between gasoline and diesel engines.  Gasoline engines ignite fuel with spark plugs, whereas diesels ignite fuel with compression. The piston stroke in a diesel engine results in a compression of the fuel air mixture so intense that it combusts spontaneously.  
  • Advanced new technologies such as electronic controls, common rail fuel injection variable injection timing, improved combustion chamber configuration and turbo charging have made diesel engines cleaner, quieter and more powerful than past vehicles.  Our H2DDI Wildfire® System is just another step toward efficiency, performance and economy when choosing diesel.

The Emissions Control System

With the introduction of lower sulfur diesel fuel, a number of exhaust treatment systems can further reduce emissions from diesel engines.  Burning Biodiesel B20 (which contains more Oxygen than standard diesel) benefits in the use of our products and is a great supplement to reduced emissions.

  • Particulate Traps - collect particulate matter as the exhaust gases pass through and can reduce particulate emissions by 80-90 percent using a catalytic reaction or an auxiliary heating element.

  • Catalytic Converters - use a chemical reaction to convert emissions into harmless substances.
